Wakati Camp

The perfect retreat for an extraordinary getaway.

A beautiful camp in the heart of the Serengeti National Park

Wakati Camp occupies a prime position in the heart of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich and renowned national park, the Serengeti. Experience incredible game-viewing year-round from here, which includes resident prides of lion, herds of elephant, black rhino and in certain months of the year, the megaherds of the Great Migration passing by your doorstep.

The world's best views

Carefully designed for breathtaking views, each tent offers stunning vistas across the plains by day, while at night, you can immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the wilderness and enjoy spectacular, uninterrupted sunsets free from any artificial lights.

accommodation

Experience the charm of our intimate luxury tented camp, featuring eight guest tents and two family tents.

Wildlife roams freely throughout the camp with no fences to restrict access, providing an authentic connection to nature. Maasai warriors escort guests to and from their tents each evening to ensure your safety.

At the heart of the camp, two communal tents invite you to embrace nature: a cosy lounge/bar and a vibrant dining tent. The tented dining area and lounge are typically left open to reveal breathtaking views of the surrounding bush, creating a seamless connection with the wild.

As evening falls, guests gather around the campfire, sharing stories and creating memories over drinks. Enjoy delicious meals served under canvas or beneath the vast, starlit Serengeti sky, making each moment unforgettable.
